Oslo is covered in snow. Like my childhood's winters. Soft, white and sparkling in the bright sunshine. It lights up the darkness. It makes the winters feel shorter, and spring time feels closer.
It creates chaos upon arrival, but is worth it. Every minute of delay it causes, every slippery step, every wet crystal on my cheek. It covers everything ugly, grey and spooky.
I long for summer. Meanwhile, I'll enjoy the snow.
